My Skiing Rival centers on Noah, a rigid, homophobic elite freeski runner, and Ilya, a wild, obsessive Russian-American backcountry skier who has fixated on Noah for six years. As bitter competitive rivals, I constantly provokes Noah to break his cold, self-restrained shell. A sudden avalanche traps them alone in a remote wooden cabin for days.
