About this drama
Follows Eleanor Sterling, a top heart surgeon and matriarch of the old-money Sterling family, who flies to New York with a portable artificial heart to save her dying husband. Mistaken for a poor woman by her son Richard’s gold-digging girlfriend Vanessa, she suffers extreme bullying at 30,000 feet. When Vanessa tries to curry favor with her future mother-in-law at a banquet, the truth is exposed, leading to a devastating reckoning.
